Well hello there. If you've just found me following the July edition of Somerset Life magazine, well done! Even though they got my web address a little bit wrong (Kim Woods Yards ????) you've arrived, you must be very good at interwebbing. For regular readers, helllloooo, how be on?
I have to say, I'm very grateful to Somerset Life for putting a photo of my work in their Vintage article this month. I'm also really pleased that the photo is next to one of Michael Eavis, local hero, on the index page, hurrah.

If anyone is interested in buying any of my work, it is available on Esty as well as Castle Cary Vintage Market which is the second Sunday of each month.
World Wide Knit in Public Day
Our local event in Glastonbury at the Mochaberry Cafe was fun, friends new and old gathered to knit and natter. We had 8 knitters in total and some passers by who are into knitting couldn't resist stopping for a chat, it's the lure of the yarn. There were 882 events in 56 different countries around the world. What a brilliant idea, I hope it grows every year.
| Vintage Markets The vintage markets are fun to do and we've met a lot of lovely people with similar interests. Last month we were opposite Vintage Jane who has a vast experience of selling as her parents were antique dealers and she started young, she had amazing things on her stall and a real knack of displaying them. We also had a couple next to us who specialised in Ladybird Books which are great fun and a real nostalgia trip. It was really nice browsing through them in the quiet moments. |
