Wow technology is amazing, I'm updating this blog from my phone! Wish my eyesight was a bit better though, the writing is TEENY!
How are you getting on with Autumn? Fun isn't it? I love the colours and kicking around in fallen leaves. Made a bit of a boob today though, hung out the washing then got so carried away with what I was doing I failed to notice the rain. Now looking at a line of dripping wet clothes. Never mind, there have to be some advantages of it getting dark early, I won't see them in a minute. There's always an upside.
The Vintage market scene has been hotting up around here and I've been branching out testing the water in far flung places like Bridport, Easter Compton, Wells & Frome. There's such a great community of traders and I've met some lovely people who are all very passionate about what they're doing and a few bloggers too. There's Vintage Jane who always has a beautiful looking stall, and Peppercorn Vintage who has a lovely array of things and a great Etsy shop. Vintage Somerset is a good website to find out what fairs and events are happening and there's also Stallfinder All good fun and here are the next ones to look out for:-
28th Nov Glastonbury Frost Fair
29th Nov Easter Compton
5th Dec Langford Budville, Nr Taunton
6th Dec Frome Cheese & Grain
12th Dec Seager Hall, Wells
There's also mummerings of something festive in Bristol and I'll keep you posted about that.
Then it'll be time for a big rest and start all over again next Spring.
I've uploaded some special bits and pieces onto my Etsy shop because as well as craft, you can list vintage items.

My lovely friend Meeli made these wrist warmers after a trip to Coldharbour Mill , a 200 year old spinning mill in Uffcolme Devon. She visited the Mill on a 'steam up' day and highly recommends it for a day out. The yarn is certainly beautiful, great colours and warm. She's such a good knitter I'm very lucky to have them but she'll kill me for posting a picture before the buttons are sewn on!
