"Yeah I, I got to know your name".........Hi folks, I've got that Dead or Alive track in my head this morning. Must be all the crochet in the round I've been doing, it's making me go a bit goggle eyed.....
Hope you have all had, or are having, a good Easter break. We were so lucky with the weather in the UK on Bank Holiday Monday as temperatures soared. You could hear the hum of lawn mowers, the buzzing of bees and everyone breathing a sigh of relief. At last, we can turn the heating off and enjoy some warmer days. Long may it last, I love the heat.
I'm pleased to report that a space at Castle Cary Vintage Market has been reserved for Kim Woods Yarns. The new monthly market starts on 12th April but I'll be there from the following month on 10th May. I'm going to specialise in upcycled stools but will have a few other vintage bits and bobs. There will be some lovely vintage clothes from Vintage Vampalicious, plenty of other traders and the Gallery Bar will be open for refreshment. Hauser & Wirth Gallery is also a stones throw away in Bruton which is well worth a visit. Sounds like a good day out to me.
Crochet Workshop
The first crochet workshop will be happening at The Red Brick Building, Glastonbury on Monday 13th April. The sessions cost £10 for one and half hours and there will be basic materials available. I will be starting from scratch and getting people going with a Granny Square. All you crocheters out there will know, you can create so much once you've mastered those basic stitches. I'm really looking forward to spreading the crochet love.
